    VALUING Your Car With:

www.freecarvaluations.co.uk

FreeCarValuations, not the most exciting website in the world, but it has to be give the quickest, most hassle free valuation that we have seen. The downfall is that it is a trade valuation, which, unless you're aware of this you could be misled into wrongly pricing your car, but as with all valuation website we'd advise never just looking at one.  Their is also an option to pay between £5-£15 and receive more infomation.

  • Just enter your regestration and mileage and receive your instant valuation.
  • Mileage is taken into consideration, which always gives a more accurate valuation.
  • The website only gives out trade valuations which probably isn't what most people are looking for, but theres no harm in looking.
  • So unbelievably easy to use, no destractions whatsoever, takes literally, seconds.

 Our Expeience

 Mercedes-Benz C200 SE CDI 2.1l

The car was sold as a classified ad on ebay for £11,250.00, so the valuation of £10252 - £11,333 is relatively accurate, although they did say this was a trade value which means they have probably over valued the car quite considerably.

Kia Carens LX 16V CRDI 2.0l

This car sold as a classified ad on ebay for £4995.00, the £2903 - £3227 valuation given by freecarvaluations is almost £2000 below the actual selling price, but as they state it is a trade valuation they are probably not far wrong. Mileage is also taken into account which does give a more accurate valuation.

Carbay's Overall Verdict:

In terms of getting a valuation on a car, although it is a trade valuation, this website has to be by far the quickest, and easiest site to use. MIleage is taken into consideration when your valuation is being generated and they tend not to be redicoulously far from the true price the majority of the time. We'd definately recommend using this website as a vague guide whilst valueing your car but we'd also recommend double checking the valuation with another more established source. www.freecarvaluations.co.uk also offer the opportunity for the customer to pay £5 for a "classic check", £10 for a "gold check" and £15 for a platinum check.
