Carbay has evolved from a group of car enthusiasts into a successful, local and online used car dealership.

We have worked together since the early days in 1984, when we established a small forecourt cnasales in Higher Crompton, Shaw. Moving on from those days we are now situated in purpose built premises that one of the original team, John Boy, helped to design. Still today we question his choice of hard to clean floor tiles!

Now in Royton, Oldham for 12 years, working as a team, we like to think that our genuine enthusiasm for cars and friendly manner continues to bring new and repeat customers to the forecourt and, as one of the first to venture online, our virtual showroom.

We have a relaxed atmosphere so no one will mind you browsing around our purpose built, canopy covered, floodlit forecourt, day or night.

Our Team:

JohnBoy

One of the original team back in the days when we had a gravel forecourt and portakabin office. He helped to build us into our current purposely designed and built canopy covered forecourt and showroom. Part of the team now for 12 years, John is an experienced, laid back friendly character who is always happy to help. His friendly, relaxed manner and witty jokes make John a very approachable person. He handles many of the enquiries and sales. As with most of our team John has worked with this forecourt for over a decade.

Alan: Car Photography

Another member of the team who’s been around from the start. Based in our vehicle preparation centre, experienced and friendly with a good eye for detail - our resident car photographer.

Paddytrick

He is our resident technical support and online administrator. Some people say he taught Bill Gates everything he knows and that if you tickle him under his chin he will produce Uncle Joes Mint Balls from his nose.

Gary

Originally employed as a car valeter, Gary steadily worked his way from forecourt maintenance moving on to sales support and now spends more time dealing with our online car valuation service.

Graham : Vehicle Preparation

With years of experience in this field Graham and Sean are highly valued members of our pre-delivery inspection team, with 30years experience between them all they are second to none.

Tracie: Accounts 

Dealing with all used car sales and purchasing paperwork, keeping the place organised and up to date. A friendly and polite service guaranteed.
